Moroccoโs Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates has established a crisis unit to address the concerns of Moroccan citizens residing in countries across the Middle East, amid ongoing regional developments.
In a statement, the Ministry said it is closely monitoring the latest developments regarding the situation of the Moroccan community residing in the Middle East,โ underscoring its commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of nationals abroad.
The Ministry urged Moroccan citizens in the region to exercise the utmost caution and vigilance, and to strictly comply with the instructions issued by the competent authorities in their respective host countries.
As part of the measures taken to facilitate communication and provide assistance, the Ministry announced the activation of dedicated telephone lines for Moroccan nationals located in the affected countries, enabling them to seek information and remain in contact with diplomatic services.
