COVID-19: Morocco extends flight suspension with 39 countries

The Moroccan authorities have decided to extend flight suspension with 39 countries until Mai 21, as a precautionary measure to curb the spread of Coronavirus strains.

Morocco had decided to ban flights with these countries since March for the same reason until April 10, however, the constant threat of the Coronavirus strains spread pushed Morocco yesterday to extend the suspension.

The concerning countries include Argentina, Botswana, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cameroon, Mozambique, and Croatia, Norway, Finland, Poland, Greece, Lebanon, and Kuwait, Egypt, Algeria, Italy, Belgium, Turkey, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Czech, Ukraine, Sweden, Australia, Brazil, Ireland, New Zealand, UK, Denmark, and South Africa.

The Moroccan decision also includes the citizens of these countries who could fly to Morocco through other international airports.

The local health authorities in Morocco apply several measures to fight the emerge of Coronavirus new strains especially after detecting almost 50 cases in different regions within the country.
