Disappearance of Two Moroccan Students in London: Polisario Suspected of Involvement

The British police have reported the disappearance of two Moroccan students in London, where they had been visiting the UK since January 25 as part of an academic exchange program. New information suggests that the Polisario Front is suspected of being behind their disappearance.

According to British media, the two girls, Douae (14) and Houda (15), were last seen on the evening of Tuesday, January 28, at around 8:30 p.m., as they left a hotel located in Tavistock Place in central London.

The two students were scheduled to return to Morocco on February 1, but their sudden disappearance has raised concerns among authorities and their families.

Chief Inspector Sarb Kaur told Sky News that the police are making an urgent appeal for any information regarding their whereabouts, stressing that "they are in a city and country unfamiliar to them, and the longer they remain missing, the more concerned we become for their well-being."

The police confirmed that a specialized team of investigators is working around the clock to locate the two girls, adding that they are coordinating with the Moroccan embassy and the organization responsible for the academic program to keep their families informed about any developments.

As part of the search efforts, police have urged anyone with information that could help find them to call 101, referencing case number 01/7101825/25. If the missing girls are spotted, witnesses are asked to contact 999 immediately.

It is worth noting that the separatist Polisario Front, backed by Algeria and advocating for the secession of Morocco’s southern provinces, has previously been involved in recruiting children and students for terrorist activities against Morocco.
