The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) has forecast heavy, occasionally thunderstorms rains across multiple provinces of Morocco on Tuesday.
According to a red-level alert issued by the DGM, intense rainfall, at times accompanied by storms, is expected from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., with accumulations of 50 to 70 mm predicted in the provinces of Tangier-Assilah, Fahs-Anjra, Larache, Kenitra, Sidi Kacem, Tetouan, Chefchaouen, Ouezzane, Taounate, Taza, and Al Hoceima.
The same weather pattern, bringing 25 to 35 mm of rain, is anticipated between 1 p.m. and 11 p.m. in the provinces of Rabat, Salé, Skhirate-Temara, Khemisset, Ifrane, and Khenifra, the DGM concluded.
