Morocco, Israel discuss security, bilateral and regional issues

Morocco's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita, held talks in Rabat on Wednesday with Israel's National Security Advisor, Tzachi Hanegbi.

According to the Moroccan official news agency MAP, the two parties reviewed in these talks a series of bilateral and regional issues of common interest.

Bourita and Hanegbi also welcomed the sustained momentum for closer cooperation between the Kingdom and Israel in all areas, particularly in terms of security.

Morocco and Israel signed on December 2020 a normalization of ties under the meditation of the United States, and since then, Rabat and Tel Aviv have signed a number of agreements in all areas, notably in defense and security.
