Morocco's exports to Israel exceed $100 million in 2021

Morocco’s exports to Israel in 2021 increased to more than $117 million compared to less than $20 million in 2020, according to United Nations COMTRADE data.

The same data shows that the balance of trade exchanges in 2021 between Rabat and Tel Aviv tilts towards Morocco, as Israel's exports to Morocco did not overcome $31 million in the same year.

The same source added that Moroccan exports to Israel vary between textiles, vegetables, meat, electronic devices, cars, and many other goods that are divided between agricultural and industrial products, but textiles and clothing remain at the top of Moroccan exports to Israel.

Regarding the Israeli exports to Morocco, it is mostly concentrated on Aircraft and spacecraft.

The leap in trade exchanges between Morocco and Israel comes immediately after the resumption of full bilateral relations between the two parties in late 2020, as part of a tripartite agreement brokered by the United States of America, which resulted in Washington's recognition of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Morocco over the Sahara.

It is expected that trade exchanges between Morocco and Israel will continue to rise in the coming years, especially after the signing of several agreements in recent months to increase trade ties between the two parties, and facilitate export, import, and investment between Moroccan and Israeli businessmen.
