ONMT announces strong return of Air France to Morocco

The Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT) announced on Wednesday the strong return of Air France to Morocco, following the signing of an agreement between the two parties.

Under this agreement, Air France will organize, for the summer 2022 season, flights with a rate of more than 500,000 seats, from France to Morocco, which means an increase of 7% compared to the summer of 2019.

In this regard, Adel El Fakir, Director General of the Moroccan National Tourism Office, said that "Our partnership with Air France is very important because thanks to it, we will be able to inject a new dynamism into national tourism from the French market."

"Today, we are working actively and diligently with the officials of this company to double its capacity by increasing the number of travelers heading to Morocco in the next three years and linking it to new tourist destinations point by point on the horizon of providing various offers that respond to the needs of different types of French tourists," Al-Faqir added.

Among the developments in the programming of Air France flights to Morocco, is the return to work on the destinations of Agadir and Tangiers, starting in the summer of this year, as these two cities will be linked to Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), noting that the Paris (CDG) hub will contribute strongly to linking Agadir and Tangiers with the American and Asian continents.

On the other hand, the upcoming summer vacation program has been enriched with the reinforcement of the usual routes such as the Paris-Marrakech route (15 journeys per week) and the Paris-Rabat route (20 journeys per week).
