Morocco's national carrier, Royal Air Maroc, said it has cancelled several flights and warned that further disruptions are possible following the closure of parts of Middle Eastern airspace.
In a statement, the airline said the cancellations were implemented “in strict compliance with aviation safety and security standards,” adding that operational decisions are being taken as a precautionary measure.
The carrier said its teams are monitoring developments in real time and will continue to update affected passengers as quickly as possible.
Royal Air Maroc advised customers worldwide to check their flight status before traveling to the airport and to update their contact details through the “Manage Booking” section on its website to ensure they receive notifications regarding schedule changes.
The airline apologized for the inconvenience, saying the disruptions were caused by circumstances beyond its control.
Airspace closures in parts of the Middle East have prompted several international airlines to reroute or suspend services as regional tensions affect flight operations across key transit corridors linking Europe, Africa and Asia.
