Assahifa, IINA Sign MOU to Boost Media Cooperation

Assahifa media group has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Iraq International News Agency (IINA) to enhance cooperation in the exchange of news and media content, as well as sharing expertise through joint training programs and mutual visits.

The agreement was signed by Susan Hameed Majeed, Executive Director of the Iraq International News Agency (IINA), and Khalid El Berhli, General Manager of Morocco’s Assahifa media group, on the sidelines of the Arab-Chinese Media Conference in Beijing, China.

Susan Hameed Majeed expressed her happiness with the signing of the memorandum with the Moroccan Assahifa media group, which enjoys a widespread presence in Morocco. She highlighted that this partnership will contribute to spreading Iraqi news in Morocco and emphasized that this collaboration will enhance media communication between the two countries and open new horizons for cooperation in various fields.

Khalid El Berhli, General Manager of the Moroccan Assahifa media group, also expressed his pleasure with the agreement, considering the reputation of IINA to be a significant factor in the realization of this partnership. He noted that the agreement will lead to greater media openness between the two institutions, and emphasized that the memorandum will pave the way for deeper collaboration in content creation, improving journalistic work, and keeping pace with the vast developments in the media industry.

It is worth noting that this is the second media partnership signed by Assahifa media group recently, following a partnership agreement with the Chinese online newspaper People's Daily, also signed during the Arab-Chinese Media Conference in Beijing.
