UK coronavirus strain cases explode suddenly in south of Morocco

Without any expectations, the Moroccan health authorities announced yesterday the discovery of more than 45 cases of UK coronavirus strain in the south of the country.

According to the health authorities, these cases were detected in the city of Dakhla, and most of them were detected within the National School of Commerce and Management.

Soon after the detection of these cases, the regional authorities in Dakhla decided to tighten the preventive measures in all the regions of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, with re-imposing the quarantine in the region.

The Regional Health Director of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, Salima Saâsaâ, said that the state of health of those tested positive for this variant is "stable" and does not cause any concern, adding that patients were placed sanitary isolation.

Morocco was not expecting to detect this number of cases from new strains of Coronavirus after closing its borders with almost all the countries in the world.
