Morocco has been ranked among the “seven top sun destinations” for the current holiday season by Canadian news channel TVA Nouvelles, highlighting the Kingdom as an increasingly attractive getaway for travelers seeking warmth, culture, and diverse experiences.
In an article published on its website, the Quebec-based media outlet described Morocco as a destination that offers “the perfect combination of relaxation, gourmet pleasures, cultural discoveries, and extraordinary adventures.” The piece, written by journalist Érika Tremblay, emphasized that Morocco appeals to visitors looking for sunshine without extreme tropical heat, while also offering a strong sense of change of scenery.
TVA Nouvelles underlined several of Morocco’s main tourist assets, pointing to its lively souks, lush gardens, legendary hospitality, and cuisine renowned for its spices and vibrant colors. These elements, the channel noted, make the Kingdom particularly appealing during the holiday season.
The Canadian outlet specifically recommended a visit to the medina of Marrakech, describing it as an ideal place to stroll through ochre-colored streets while discovering the city’s rich historical and cultural heritage. In addition to Marrakech, TVA Nouvelles highlighted coastal cities such as Essaouira and Agadir as key stops for travelers.
The report also encouraged tourists to experience the Moroccan desert, stressing that the contrast between desert landscapes and the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains offers an unforgettable experience. According to the channel, this unique combination of natural settings is among Morocco’s strongest attractions.
Alongside Morocco, TVA Nouvelles listed other sun destinations for the season, including Los Cabos in Mexico, Colombia, Guadeloupe, Brazil, the French Riviera, and the Bahamas.
