The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed eight Moroccan referees to officiate matches of the 33rd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN), scheduled from January 9 to February 6 in Cameroon.
The list approved by CAF includes men referees, a referee and an assistant referee, said Wednesday the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) in a statement published on its website.
Here follows the list of designated referees:
1. Redouane Jiyed (main referee and VAR assistant referee)
2. Adel Zourak (VAR assistant referee)
3. Samir Guezaz (VAR assistant referee)
4. Bouchra Kerboubi (VAR assistant referee)
5. Lahden Azgaou (assistant referee and VAR assistant referee)
6. El Mostapha Akardad (assistant referee and VAR assistant referee)
7. Zakaria Brinssi (assistant referee and VAR assistant referee)
8. Fatiha Jermoumi (assistant referee and VAR assistant referee).
