Morocco Dance World Cup Returns to Tetouan for Its 4th Edition

Under the auspices of the International Confederation of Dance Professionals (CIAD), the prestigious international event Morocco Dance World Cup makes its grand return for its fourth edition, after a five-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The event will take place on October 15th and 16th in the city of Tétouan.

Over 200 participants from various nationalities and age groups are expected to showcase spectacular performances in multiple dance styles, including ballet, contemporary dance, jazz, flamenco, folklore, oriental dance, and African dance.

The official competition jury will consist of renowned dance masters from around the world, chaired by Mr. Rodolfo Solmoirago, President of CIAD, from Argentina.

In addition to the main competition, the event will feature a rich program of parallel activities, including dance workshops focused on Moroccan folklore, as well as guided tours where guests can explore the key cultural and tourist landmarks of the city of Tétouan.

This initiative is part of the Kingdom's cultural diplomacy efforts, also contributing to the promotion of cultural tourism, in line with Morocco's preparations for the 2030 World Cup.

It is worth noting that the last edition, held in 2019, saw participation from countries such as Argentina, Paraguay, Romania, Brazil, Mexico, Uruguay, and Morocco.
