The Russian folk choir “Otrada” from the St. Nicholas Chernoostrovsky Convent in Russia held a vibrant concert yesterday at the Allal Al Fassi Theater in Rabat as part of a special cultural evening celebrating Russia’s National Unity Day and the 100th anniversary of the country’s system of people’s diplomacy.
The event, which drew a warm audience, showcased traditional Russian choral music and highlighted the deep cultural ties between Russia and Morocco.
Organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, Roskonscert, and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Rabat, the concert marks the beginning of a cultural tour in Morocco.
The next performance will take place on November 7 at the Palace of Arts and Culture in Tangier, continuing the celebration of Russian cultural heritage abroad.
