President of the Union of the Comoros, Azali Assoumani, highlighted, in Moroni on Sunday, the strategic partnership between his country and Morocco.
In a speech marking the fiftieth anniversary of the independence of the Union of the Comoros, Azali Assoumani highlighted Comorian diplomacy, in particular “with Morocco, a strategic partner for energy, training and investment.”
Assoumani also recalled that on the African and world stage, Comoros has chaired the African Union, spoken up for small island states, and worked for peace, institutional reform and quality education for all.
We recall that on the High Instructions of the King, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, a FAR detachment took part in the commemoration of the fiftieth anniversary of the independence of the Union of the Comoros, following an invitation extended to Morocco.
