Morocco decided on Tuesday to suspend flights with six other counties as a precautionary measure against Coronavirus strains. The six countries are Norway, Finland, Poland, Greece, Lebanon, and Kuwait.
The Moroccan National Airport Office (ONDA) announced the news today, pointing out that the decision will last until March 21, 2021.
The same source added that this decision also applies to citizens of the six nations who intend to travel to Morocco through other airports which still have connections with Morocco.
The six countries mentioned above raise the number of countries that Morocco decided to suspend flights with it to 26 countries, including Egypt, Algeria, Italy, Belgium, Turkey, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Czech, Ukraine, Sweden, Australia, Brazil, Ireland, New Zealand, UK, Denmark, and South Africa.
Morocco has announced that only 24 cases of the UK’s coronavirus strain have been recorded within the country so far.
The Kingdom of Morocco started on January 28, a national vaccination campaign, and almost 4 million people have already been vaccinated until now.
