Government, ONDA Ink 2025–2030 MoU to Reinvent Moroccan Airports

The memorandum of understanding signed on Thursday in Rabat between the Government and the Moroccan Airports Authority (ONDA) will enable Morocco to acquire state-of-the-art airport infrastructure, thereby establishing the Kingdom as a true leader in Africa and a player fully open to the world, said ONDA Director General Adel El Fakir.

This agreement sets the course for the next five years to support the ONDA-2030 strategy through an innovative economic model, El Fakir said in a statement to the press following the signing ceremony for the memorandum of understanding, chaired by Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch.

The launch of construction projects and the development of strategic infrastructure are aimed at supporting the economic and social growth that the Kingdom is experiencing, he said, adding that Morocco is currently undergoing a profound transformation of the air transport sector, particularly in terms of airport infrastructure.

The memorandum of understanding, signed between the Government and ONDA, covers the period 2025-2030, with a total investment of MAD 38 billion.
