A Parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, is on a working visit to the People’s Republic of China, at the invitation of the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China.
The visit is intended to strengthen parliamentary relations between Morocco and China and to reinforce coordination within the various international parliamentary forums, states the House of Representatives in a press release.
It also aims to establish permanent parliamentary dialogue and communication between the two legislative institutions, particularly on issues of common interest, adds the same source.
Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, made an official visit to Morocco in May 2023 leading a high-level delegation at the invitation of the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
