The number of Moroccan people who received the first dose of the vaccine reached 9,374,710, while 8,057,159 people were fully vaccinated (1st and 2nd doses), the ministry of health said in its daily report on the Covid-19 situation.
The same source added that four hundred and eighty-one (481) new cases of infection with the new coronavirus and 450 recoveries have been recorded in Morocco in the last 24 hours
The new cases of infection bring to 525,924 the total number of contaminations since the first case reported in March 2020. The number of recovered people has increased to 512,937, a recovery rate of 97.5%.
As for the total number of deaths, it rose to 9,233, with eight new cases recorded today.
