The Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Italy have agreed to accelerate the implementation of their multidimensional strategic partnership.
During a telephone conversation, Tuesday, between Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Italy, Luigi Di Maio, the two parties, "who praised the excellent relations between Morocco and Italy, agreed to accelerate the implementation of the multidimensional strategic partnership between the two countries".
The two ministers also reaffirmed their great interest in maintaining and strengthening the legal framework that binds Morocco to the European Union, which is essential to ensure the continuation and stability of their strategic partnership, said a joint statement issued after the conversation.
In addition, they stressed the importance of the initiatives of the Council of the EU on the fisheries and agriculture agreements between Morocco and the European Union, added the same source.
The two ministers also had an in-depth exchange on regional and international issues of common interest, including the latest developments in Libya.
