Snowfall ranging from 5 to 15 cm is expected on elevations above 1,800 meters on Monday and Tuesday in several provinces of the Kingdom, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).
Snow accumulation between 10 and 15 cm is forecast in the provinces of Azilal, Beni Mellal, Midelt, Tinghir, Ouarzazate, and Al Haouz, the DGM stated in an orange-level weather alert bulletin.
The same phenomenon, with snowfall between 5 and 10 cm, is expected during the same period in the provinces of Ifrane, Boulemane, Taroudant, and Chichaoua, according to the same source.
