Saudi Arabia welcomed the pioneering initiatives launched by King Mohammed VI, for Africa, as the 14th session of the Morocco-Saudi Arabia Joint Commission convened on Wednesday in Mecca.
These include the Royal Initiative to facilitate Sahel countries’ access to the Atlantic Ocean, the Process of Atlantic African States, and the Nigeria-Morocco gas pipeline project.
Saudi Arabia also commended King Mohammed VI’s leadership in strengthening the pillars of sustainable development and consolidating peace, security, and stability across Africa, to meet the aspirations of its peoples for progress and prosperity.
Additionally, the Kingdom praised Morocco’s efforts to uphold African partnership with various continental groupings and influencing States, based on sound principles.
