A new Royal Air Force plane landed, on Saturday morning at Tunis-Carthage international airport, as part of the airlift carrying emergency medical aid ordered by King Mohammed VI for the benefit of Tunisia, which is experiencing a worsening of its epidemiological situation linked to Covid-19.
According to MAP news agency, the total number of Royal Air Force planes, which have arrived in Tunis so far, has reached eight planes carrying nearly 103 tons and 68 kilograms of aid.
The medical aid ordered by the King consists of two complete and autonomous intensive care units, with a total capacity of 100 beds.
It also includes 100 respirators and two oxygen generators with a capacity of 33 m3 per hour each.
This Royal decision is part of the links of active solidarity between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Tunisia, as well as of the authentic fraternity which unites the two brotherly peoples.
