Interpol President Praises Morocco's Leadership in International Security Cooperation

The President of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol), Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi, lauded Morocco's leadership in international security cooperation during an event in Agadir on Thursday.

Speaking at the opening of the 5th edition of the Open Days of the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), Al-Raisi emphasized the significant efforts and contributions of Morocco to global security. He described the Kingdom's progress in this domain as exceptional.

Highlighting Morocco's active participation in over a dozen projects under Interpol's auspices and involvement in around twenty major international security operations, Al-Raisi noted the unanimous decision to select Morocco as the host for the 93rd General Assembly of Interpol in 2025. This decision, he stated, reflects the Kingdom's leadership and the trust it commands on the international stage.

The 5th edition of the DGSN Open Days kicked off on Thursday evening in Agadir, under the theme "National Security: Citizenship and Solidarity." This public initiative, running until May 21, aims to inform the public about the modernization efforts undertaken by the DGSN to ensure the safety of individuals and property and to uphold public order.
